Kitschy Mexican ambience and good service. Good food and drink, and the most amazing flan for dessert. There were four of us... A good time was had by all.

Marisco La Playa is a gem of a restaurant! Ambiance and service were outstanding. And the food! OMG! Just excellent Mexican style seafood.you'll swear you are on the coast!

We loved our dinner here. Food was fresh and delicious. Prices were reasonable. The restaurant was clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. We were able to park super close. We plan to return soon!

I've lived in New Mexico for 25 years and always thought I should avoid seafood restaurants, because we are so far inland. Well, I was proven wrong with the freshest seafood meal I've had since I visited Seattle. Oysters on the shell and the Insalata la Playa filled my belly. (I couldn't finish the massive salad. Enough for two.) A marvelous sangria, too. The bill was just over 40 bucks. A festive and comfortable dining room. Authentically Mexican. Friendly server. And the food came to the table fast on this Sunday afternoon. I'll be back.

Definitely a hidden gem. We have been to the sushi spot a few doors down but this was worth the find and stop. Staff speaks english and Spanish. Super friendly. Food came out quickly. And was absolutely delicious. I had to stop myself from eating all the chips with the refried beans and pico so I didn't fill myself up too quickly before the main meal. The steak was tender. The vegetables cooked just right. There is a sign out front but none on the door itself. If you're looking for good Mexican food, try them out.

If it wasn't for the sign on the street you'd probably miss it. There's no signage near the entrance. We got seated immediately and menus arrived with chips & rather than the usual salsa it was 3 bowls containing refried beans, pico de gallo & a combo of pico, sour cream & avocado. Different & delicious. Seating was primarily booths carved and painted with seascape scenes. I ordered the lunch special - 3 fish tacos. They were unbattered, lightly fried & loaded with fish. We also got the steak fajitas. Like the fish tacos, there was enough for two. Needless to say we have enough for another meal. Prices were reasonable, service was good and food was aplenty.

Fantastic experience all around. Very colorful atmosphere, polite staff, waitress was thorough in her explanation of food choices and the food was super fresh and tasty. This is real Mexican food at its best! I had the mixed seafood platter and my wife had the asada tostadas. Both amazing! Will definitely try it again soon!

The service was great and very quick. We got seated right away for lunch. Our server was very friendly. The chips they bring out are free and they also bring out 3 different dips and salsas. Our booth was very roomy and the restaurant was quiet for lunch time. We really enjoyed our food and our time. We will be back soon! Thank you
